A cherub-like creature of dreams that lives on Crush Mountain and appears in Fools Crush In. He pulls the party into his realm as they sleep to conduct a series of tests on the party. This includes putting them through games of Truth or Dare and Spin the Bottle. He wields a bow that gives you a crush on the next person you look at; if you already have a crush, it just hurts. He promises the party fabulous wealth for completing his tests, only to raise his reward to absurdly high amounts. During his tests, he frequently changes the rules to suit his liking. Players who give unsatisfying truths are subjected to dares and dares characters to pick truth. He also develops a crush on the ground after allowing Stirfry to hit him with one of his crush arrows.
After putting the party through various dares and simulations, he reveals his plan was to release a book on his study proving that people are inherently selfish. The party argues that they acted with the good of others in mind but Zimbarney ignores that because it doesn't help prove his point. They attack him in frustration, causing Zimbarney to transform into a giant mutated version of himself rather than let them risk ruining his writing career.
Ultimately, the party tricks Zimbarney into marrying the ground and convince him to release them from Crush Mountain to the waking world.

- When Bellow calls him "Mister Zimbarney," he turns down the name as Mister Zimbarney was his father's name. After a moment's consideration he concedes that he was named after his father's last name and they were not related.

- Zimbarney once used his crush arrows on a man who just closed eyes. He fell in love with the back of his own eyelids and lived a long happy life, remaining always close to his crush.
- Zimbarney's research book was going to be called "Zimbarney de Milo: People Are Inherently Bad by Zimbarney de Milo." The idea was to include his name twice to get more attention..
