An 18-year-old human with white hair that lives in The Nethermurk. He is played by Tim Platt in the Nethermurk campaign.
Ulysses "Uly" Burden was raised by bat-people, adjusting to live among them by crafting his own wings out of moss and webs. He is pale to the point of sometimes seeing his reflection and being able to see through his skin. He holds little attachment to his human background beyond curiosity, strongly insisting that he must be nothing like the beings that locked away his loved ones. As his human powers begin to develop, he begins to question where his loyalties lie.
Powers[]
Ulysses possess the powers of a human, though this clearly conflicts with the normal humans we have seen throughout the show. He initially uses his abilities of compartmentalization to focus on tasks, but throughout the series he turns invisible, makes spiders obey his will, and changes his appearance. These tend to follow his learning what people expect out of humans, considering that they are legendary in The Nethermurk and are presumed to wield god-like powers.
Trivia[]
- Uly writes for his school's paper The Weekly Humiliation. He takes it as his duty to remain honest.
- His favorite band is Containment and he often wears one of their t-shirts.
