Casper is Albee's brother. He is protective of his sister and family.
By the time the party reaches Albee's house, Casper is the only one left living there. The rest of their family left before him, and when he attempted to leave he found that monsters had begun appearing in the nearby woods. The Dawns had mentioned going to The Delighted Wife for answers and intended to follow them. He remained stuck in his house until the party arrived, deciding to make a break for it with them in tow.
Casper and the others are pursued by Kebin, who nearly catches them before Stirfry distracts it with a paper airplane. The creature chases the toy instead of them, leaving the group to argue over their decisions. They near The Soaking Valley when Stirfry's airplane crosses his path, causing Kebin to turn him inside out and absorb him into his body.
Albee mourns him over the next several days by meditating, but she receives a vision from the earth itself. While awakening her elemental powers, the earth tells her that his soul was not returned to the earth, meaning that he is still alive in some capacity.
